Workshop for children from 9 - 11 years old

Surprise Studio

A whimsical, creative workshop series that invites children from 9 till 11 years old to step into a world of imagination and fun, all inspired by the delightful, dreamy spirit of Amélie Poulain. This workshop series is designed for those who want to unleash their inner Amélie and discover the joy of storytelling, crafting, and connecting through shared creativity.

    • Creative Craftsmanship
      The children will learn how to create and wrap personalized gifts using a variety of materials and techniques.

    • Surprise Planning
      They’ll explore the art of planning and delivering surprises for friends or family, learning about the joy of giving and the excitement of anticipation.

    • Storytelling and Imagination
      Through engaging storytelling exercises, participants will craft their own narratives involving surprises, sparking creativity and imagination.

    • Cultural Awareness
      The children will discover various cultural traditions and practices surrounding celebrations and surprises from around the world.

    • Fun and Joy
      Above all, the workshops are designed to provide a fun, playful experience, where kids can express themselves creatively and experience the joy of making others happy.

  • Our Surprise Studio takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 2:00–4:00 PM at Wunderkammer, Esterházygasse 11A, 1060 Vienna.

    The workshops are led by Celine Vanhoutte and Zoë Van Hest, together with several Surprise Guests.

    The next series starts in March 2026 and includes 6 lessons.
